A work painted calmly, with continuous brushstrokes and soft tones: clay, lavender, neutrals.
I explore the skin as a surface and as a memory: what remains inside, what surfaces or remains hidden.
In this series I use acrylics, textures with paper, gesso and craquelure, looking for cracks and organic shapes, like the bark of a tree.
Each stroke is part of a slow movement towards an inner place: calm.
